Where is my P6 data?

How to answer the question in 4 easy steps. 

In Oracle Primavera P6, data in all screens can be sorted, grouped or filtered to allow a user to focus only on the data needed at the time.

To find out what data is currently on screen (especially if you are lost) try this 4-point process to find out what data is showing and what is perhaps missing:

  1. At the top of the screen (the Blue Title bar) ensure the appropriate project or projects are currently open
     
  2. Check the Navigation bar (silver bar under the menus) to ensure the appropriate screen is showing
     
  3. Check the layout options bar (thin grey bar at top of the table area on left frame of screen) to see which layout is currently selected
     
  4. Check the filter bar (right of the layout options bar) to ensure the appropriate filter is applied.These four steps will ensure you are viewing the data you need for the task at hand.
