Recruiting Process

Through Platinum Resources, IMS offers a flexible and cost effective option to provide immediate PM support for your company’s staffing needs. To ensure that we can deliver PM resources in a timely manner, IMS proactively recruits resources at all times. All resources are trained and tested prior to deployment on site. Depending on your specific project needs, we can provide PM resources such as Project Managers, Project Control Engineers, Project Analysts, and PM Tool Administrators.

PM Experience

We require our Platinum Resources to have experience in the field of project management. We carefully evaluate and verify each resource’s experience and skill sets throughout our recruitment process through interviews, referral checks, training, and testing. With this comprehensive screening process, IMS is able to match experience and skill sets with the specific needs of the client.

PM Knowledge

All IMS Platinum Resources are tested on the fundamentals of project management. IMS has many certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) on staff to train Platinum Resources, if necessary, to further augment their PM knowledge in all areas of project management. Our training is based on the Project Management Institute’s Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®). In addition to PM knowledge testing, each resource can also be instructed on client specific business processes.

PM Tool Expertise

IMS will test the selected candidates to make sure they have the appropriate tool expertise requested. When necessary, IMS provides the required tool training through our in-house trainers who are certified in state-of-the-art project management applications such as Primavera. In addition, IMS provides continued education to all Platinum Resources as newer and updated versions of PM software are released. IMS can also offer customized training courses that combine client processes with tool training. This allows our resources to be better prepared and ready to work productively upon arrival. Our staff is required to keep current on the latest changes and new features added to PM software, and to distribute new information to all Platinum Resources as it becomes available.
