Data Storage

The service offers full management of a customer’s data back-up process for file systems and databases. IMS consults with you to assess back-up requirements for the PPM database, then sets up and administers data back-up and restore processes.

Firewall and Data Security

Our network security specialists are certified for the Firewall-1, Eagle, and PIX products and have collectively installed hundreds of firewalls, dealing with many forms of security attacks. The monitoring process includes the establishment of a resolution process to track and report any and all breach attempts related to our hosting services.

Superior Infrastructure

The Data Center infrastructure consists of two key elements: eliminate single points of failure, and reduce the distance from the internet end-user to the information in the data center. The latter is done by a reliable high-speed backbone engineered solely for the distribution of data. Each Data Center has a Network Control Center (NCC) that is monitored and managed by NCC staff. Fiber optic cables allow for redundant connections and eliminating any single point of failure between the data center and the internet.

The security and integrity of the data center is maintained by video surveillance cameras and security alarms with automatic police-notification, and on-site, 24-hour security personnel.

Each Data Center utilizes a Redundant Power Management System to ensure clean, conditioned power from the UPS batteries. The environment is built on raised floors for proper heat dissipation and a state-of-the-art VESDA fire suppression system.
