Jeff Collins, PMP
President / CEO
Mr. Collins is Founder and President of Innovative Management Solutions, Inc. (IMS), and has over twenty (20) years in the industry. His responsibility is to establish the overall direction and growth of IMS. This includes the development of new business, development of business partnerships, allocation of resources, as well as managing the efforts of various project teams supporting our clients.
When necessary, Mr. Collins is utilized as a Project Team Leader to develop needs analyses, establish goals, provide recommendations, implement solutions, as well as develop and manage the IMS project team. Mr. Collins has provided consulting and project management support to numerous Fortune 500 companies, such as Northrop/Grumman, ARCO, BP Exploration, Dupont Chemical, Farmland Industries, Union Pacific Resources, Weyerhaeuser, DOW Chemical, Department of Veteran's Affairs, EDS, and Unisys. His experience also includes implementation of project management offices; implementation of new project management software systems; defining project reporting requirements and assisting clients with project start-up services. Mr. Collins has instructed project management classes.
Furthermore, Mr. Collins has personally contributed significantly to the development of new project management software systems that are being utilized on projects worldwide.
Charles "Chip" Pospisil, PE, PMP
Vice President - Professional Services
Mr. Pospisil is responsible for the successful delivery of project management consulting services as well as for strategic planning, research and development and internal training and certification. His focus is on development of new service offerings, project management process development and enhancements, and employee mentoring.
Mr. Pospisil provides IMS project team leadership on client engagements as well as hands on delivery of project management consulting and training services. Mr. Pospisil has provided project management consulting and support services to numerous companies of all sizes and spanning multiple industries. Companies such as Toyota, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Avnet, MicroAge, Bechtel, Pfizer, Shering-Plough as well as Choice Hotels International, National Data Corporation, Washington Public Power Supply System, Sacramento Municipal Utility District and many others have greatly benefited from his experience in implementation of project management offices, software development project management, and general project controls.
Mr. Pospisil has over twenty-five (25) years of project experience derived from small and large multi-site client server applications; large-scale multi-tera byte data warehouses; department and company wide client server based project control systems and small company start-ups. His experience covers all phases of the project life cycle from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and training. Mr. Pospisil is experienced in the use of project management and project estimating software tools having used them first hand for quarter million to multi-billion dollar projects. In addition to managing projects Mr. Pospisil's expertise, experience and skills enable him to provide the following project management consulting services; project controls, software project estimating, project office start-ups, project management maturity assessments, risk assessment and management, facilitated visual planning (StoryBoarding) and training.
Brent Langley, PMP
Director, Client Solutions
Mr. Langley has direct responsibilities related to corporate infrastructure development, business development, project staffing, as well as providing training and consulting to our clients. In addition, Mr. Langley serves as a liaison between on-site project account leaders and our clients.
Mr. Langley has over eighteen(18) years experience in Project Management with focus in the Scope Management, Time Management and Cost Management Knowledge areas. Mr. Langley has expertise in assisting clients with integrating and utilizing project management concepts and methodologies into their Planning, Executing and Controlling Processes for IT, Engineering, and Construction projects. Additional responsibilities have included collection and dissemination of performance reporting. Mr. Langley has extensive experience with the Core Planning Processes including scope planning and definition, schedule development and cost budgeting. Mr. Langley has served as technical lead for Exxon Chemical Company's worldwide integration and utilization of Primavera's P3 Project Planner into a proprietary Information Technology application for Maintenance and Process job planning and scheduling. He has also rolled out Primavera's enterprise products to such notable clients as Hewlett-Packard, Weyerhaeuser, Aflac, Carter & Burgess, and many more.
