IMS Expands Headquarters and Bolsters Staff
PLANO, TEXAS – Innovative Management Solutions, Inc. (IMS) has recently expanded its company headquarters near Dallas, more than doubling the size of its existing office space to reflect recent and expected future growth.
During a time when many companies are tightening their belts and cutting back, IMS is growing both physically and in number of personnel. Since the economic downturn in 2009, IMS has not only expanded its Plano office but has also hired a dozen new employees. If the amount of extra space is an indication, IMS is on the right path to achieve its goals over the next five years.
IMS is a full-service project management service provider, founded in 1993 by current president and CEO Jeff Collins. Collins moved his company from Newport Beach, CA to the Dallas area in 2003 and has been at the Legacy Town Center in Plano since 2006.
Collins says that moving the headquarters location to Texas was one of the best business decisions he has made; although IMS provides services nationwide and throughout various parts of the world, a large portion of IMS’ clients are based in Texas. He adds that the Texas economy remains in relatively good condition in comparison to other parts of the country, and the reasonable cost of living and abundant resources provide an added bonus.
“This most recent move has made it possible to scale my business more cost effectively in the years to come. In order to meet our growing needs as a company, I felt it best to expand our offices to better accommodate our growing number of clientele and employees,” Collins said. “The bigger space will provide a more comfortable environment for our employees and allow them to provide the best possible service to our clients.”
In addition, IMS recently celebrated its 17th anniversary in April. Collins says he feels the milestone gives him another reason to celebrate and feel grateful for the success of the company, as well appreciate the team of employees that has contributed to that success.
“Our 17th anniversary is a truly momentous occasion for our company and I am looking forward to continued growth and a banner year in 2010,” says Collins.
